Fotocamera fabrikant Leica heeft een website geïntroduceerd waar elke dag een foto door een Leica eigenaar geplaatst gaat worden. LeicaShots.com is opgericht om de foto's die gemaakt worden met deze camera's meer op een podium te zetten. Een foto site als Flickr heeft ook veel foto's gemaakt met een Leica toestel, maar die raken ondergesneeuwd in de massa, vandaar dat de fabrikant een eigen site is begonnen. Waar de fotografen naast een foto een klein verhaaltje vertellen waarom en hoe ze de foto gemaakt hebben. Naast foto's zullen er ook artikelen verschijnen die met de producten van de fabrikant te maken hebben....
